Popcorn: Pop the Corn is developed and operated by MakсOS ("we", "us", or "our"). The game does not require a user account or sign-in.
This Privacy Policy covers the iPhone and iPad version of Popcorn: Pop the Corn, the services used by the app, and the website at newpopcorngame.com.
Information you provide
The game does not ask you to enter your name, postal address, phone number, contacts, photos, or payment-card details.
If you contact us by email for support, we receive the email address you use and the contents of your message so that we can respond to your request.
Information processed automatically
The app uses third-party services that may automatically process technical, analytics, advertising, consent, and purchase-related information.
- Firebase Analytics: may process app opens, sessions, gameplay or app-interaction events, app version, device model, operating-system information, approximate geographic information, and app-instance or device identifiers depending on availability and settings.
- Google Mobile Ads: may process information such as IP address (which can be used to estimate general location), device identifiers, advertising data, ad interactions, product interactions, diagnostics, crash information, and performance information.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): is used to manage privacy and consent choices where required. Consent status and related privacy choices may be processed to determine how ads and analytics can operate.
- Apple StoreKit / App Store: Apple processes payments. The app receives transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock or restore the Full Game. We do not receive your payment-card or bank-account details.
How information is used
- to operate the game and its features;
- to understand gameplay and app usage and improve the game;
- to show rewarded ads in the free version;
- to manage advertising and privacy consent where required;
- to verify and restore the Full Game purchase;
- to diagnose technical problems, maintain reliability, and protect against misuse.
Advertising
The free version of Popcorn may show rewarded advertising through Google Mobile Ads. Unlocking the Full Game removes ads.
Depending on your region, configuration, and consent choices, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ads. Where required, privacy or consent choices may be presented through Google UMP.
App analytics (Firebase)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is used, such as app opens, sessions, level progression, and other gameplay interactions. Analytics information is used to improve gameplay, balance, reliability, and the overall experience.
Website analytics (Google Analytics 4)
With your consent, newpopcorngame.com uses Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the website and to help us improve it. Google Analytics 4 is optional and is not loaded unless you accept website analytics.
Website analytics may process information such as page views, traffic source or referrer information, approximate geographic information where provided by the analytics service, device and browser information, outbound link activity, and clicks on the View on the App Store link.
Your analytics preference is stored in your browser's local storage so the website can remember your choice. You can reject analytics when first asked or change your choice later by using Analytics settings in the footer. Website Google Analytics 4 is separate from Firebase Analytics used by the iOS app.
In-app purchases
The Full Game is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase handled by Apple. Apple is responsible for payment processing. Popcorn uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement information only as needed to unlock and restore purchased content.
Third-party services
The app relies on services provided by Google and Apple. These providers process information under their own privacy terms and security practices.
Your choices and consent
Where privacy consent is required, the app may present Google UMP controls that allow you to make choices about advertising and analytics processing. You can also use the privacy and advertising controls provided by iOS and your Apple Account.
On the website, Google Analytics 4 remains disabled unless you grant analytics consent. Your website analytics choice can be changed at any time through Analytics settings in the footer.
You may contact us to ask questions about your privacy or to request deletion of support correspondence or other information that we can reasonably identify and control. Some pseudonymous, aggregated, transaction, analytics, or advertising data may be retained by Google or Apple according to their own retention requirements and policies.
Data retention
We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, resolve issues, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations. Analytics, advertising, consent, and purchase information is retained according to the settings and retention policies of the third-party services that process it.
We do not maintain a user-account database for Popcorn.
Children and general audience use
Popcorn is a general-audience game. It does not require an account and does not ask users to submit personal information inside the game. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support request, please contact us so we can address it.
Security
We use reasonable measures and established third-party platforms to protect information handled in connection with the app. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
